Rawlins Family Recreation Center

The Rawlins Family Recreation Center is a City owned facility, operated by the Parks and Recreation Department. All recreation offices are located in the facility.

The facility has a ten lane - 25 meter indoor shooting range that will handle small bore rifles, archery, black powder and handguns up to and including 44 magnum. There is also a rifle cone which enables hunters to sight in high-powered rifles.

A fitness room with free weights and training stations provides a great workout....

....and there are also stationary bicycles, a high-tech treadmill and stair step machines.

The building houses three gymnasiums, oriented side by side, which are surrounded by an upper level 1/10th mile rubber floor track.

In addition to three racquetball courts the Center has a multi-purpose room which has been used for everything from aerobics to assembling an Indian Tepee !

Locker rooms with showers are always available and day care is provided during select hours. The Recreation Department offers a wide variety of programs, activities and leagues for children and adults. For more information please call (307) 324-7529.
