The City of Rawlins Police Department serves the community by protecting citizens and property, preventing crime, enforcing laws, and maintaining order. The Department's primary goal is to contribute to the quality of life in Rawlins.
The Rawlins Police Department (RPD) is comprised of 18 sworn officers, seven dispatchers, a records division, victim advocates, two animal control officers, and one administrative secretary. The RPD has a statewide reputation for excellence and provides innovative and equitable police service to our community through a motivated and engaged workforce.
The mission of the Rawlins Police Department is to work in partnership with the community by providing safety and security through fair, dependable and professional police services.
