The railroad played a big part in Carbon County history. This old locomotive (Union Pacific No. 533) was built in 1903 and was donated to the City of Rawlins in 1958. How we define who we are is generated by where we have been. The Union Pacific Railroad has been and will continue to be a large part of our past, present and future.
