Pronghorn Habitat Neighbors
by
Amy Bright Unfried
The pronghorn is a beautiful creature uniquely evolved in its North American habitat -- habitat it shares with many wonderful animals and plants, of which a few are depicted here. Illustrated are: ferruginous hawk, meadowlark, chain-fruit cholla, scarlet globe-mallow, alfalfa, yellow sweet-clover, silver sage and Louisiana sage-wort. On the backside of the animal are the sage sparrow, burrowing owl, rabbi-brush and galleta.
