Station I

Built in 1971 and located at 320 W. Walnut Street, Station I serves as the headquarters for emergency response and is home for first out engines, administrative offices, sleeping quarters, meeting room, and an equipment maintenance area. Station I is manned 24/7 year round by paid engineers of the City of Rawlins.

   
Station II

Built in 1981 and located at 501 East State Street, Station II was opened in 1984 to expand service to the south side of Rawlins and the Wyoming State Penitentiary. It is home to another first out engine, HAZMAT response equipment, a command trailer, office, sleeping quarters and a training center. Station II is also manned by paid engineers 24/7.

   
Burn/Drill Tower

Built in 1999 and located at 403 East State Street on the Training Center grounds, this WHP Chief model facility is designed with 2 burn rooms and a ventilation knock out on the roof. It includes a 4 story drill tower with anchors on the roof for high angle rescue evolutions. The structure is shuttered throughout for smoke training. It is located at 403 East State Street.

   
Pump Test Pit

Located on the Training Center grounds, this pump test pit is used for test certification of fire apparatus and confined space training. Underground, it has two tanks connected by a 10 foot pipe, 24" in diameter.

   
Smoke Trailer

This 14' x 70' mobile home located at 499 East State Street is also within the Training Center grounds. It was donated by the Wyoming State Penitentiary in 1997 for non-toxic smoke training and search evolutions. The fully furnished interior allows for realistic training with a very low danger level.

   

Built in 2007 and located behind Fire Station II, the classrom training/ building inspection center functions to improve firefighter training and building code operations. It is located at 501 1/2 East State Street.
